so, those who like squid, here’s something I found out recently about the giant squid and colossal squid. Apparently they’re two different species, with the colossal squid possibly reaching 4.5m in its mantle with eyes supposedly the size of dinner plates and hooks on its tentacles which it uses to attack prey. Nasty stuff.

I wouldn’t eat them (I don’t like eating squid) but hey, it’s quite fascinating watching them
